We took the boys to their first CSU football game. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong game to attend. This fall has been one of the coldest and snowiest we’ve had in a loooong time – arctic cold for days at a time. So, of course, the day of the game is absolutely frigid. The kids were troopers, making it through half the game before we finally called it quits. They enjoyed the band, and even got to experience the cannon that is fired whenever CSU scores a touchdown. The final straw was when the concession stands ran out of hot chocolate. Fortunately, we had plenty of hot chocolate at our house. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies, and enjoying hot chocolate and warm blankies. Consider the day a success.
