October: Oink, Oink!

The Pickett house got hit hard by the Piggy Flu. We hadn't even had a chance to get any flu shots when we got knocked down for a full two weeks by H1N1. Seth and Zach had it the worst; Zach ended up on antibiotics to prevent pneumonia, and Seth ended up on antibiotics to prevent bronchitis. Alex got antibiotics, because the flu morphed into yet another double ear infection. I was sick for 3 days, and fortunately, was a lot better off than everyone else. Once everyone's course of antibiotics were complete, they were all much better. Hopefully, we'll stay snout-free for the rest of flu season.
