Haircuts

Alex got his first haircut this summer. Although his curls in the back are adorable, we decided it was probably time to cut when a lady at Wal-Mart asked how old "she" was. Our "Miss Tina" is so good with the boys, they hardly fussed about getting haircuts. Alex wasn't quite sure about the sensation of the scissors, but he sat still enough and was very happy about the sucker at the end.
Zach has been getting his hair cut for awhile now, and usually just gets a trim so he doesn't look like a ragamuffin. However, as the weather got hotter, we noticed that his hair was always a mess and (even with frequent baths) didn't always smell that great. He is very active, and spent all summer running around outside, getting sweaty and dirty. So, we decided to just buzz his hair off.

Our appointment was right after my mom's appointment, and Tina finished Mom's style with some curls from the curling iron. Zach was very interested in the contraption, and wanted Tina to curl his hair too. So, she did.
Once the curls were done, the buzzer came out. Zach enjoyed the tickle, and sat really still. Once done, the difference was amazing. He looked like a big boy, no longer the toddler.

He also enjoyed the sucker at the end.

The boys, post-haircuts.
